Baseball U AA
Baseball U Is Your Complete Travel Program
Each year there are more travel programs forming. While we wish them all the best our past has proven why we are considered one of the country’s best organizations. (13th Ranked by Perfect Game). Our program provides development while showcasing a player. We also act as a player’s advisor during the recruiting process. Each player has their own webpage to provide maximum exposure during their Baseball U Experience.
Development
The development of players skills are of the most importance at every level. The earlier a player can learn the correct baseball mechanics to be successful in college the easier the recruiting process will become for a player. Baseball U prides itself in teaching the college game to all of the players at each level. Teams will practice while both at home and on the road. The staff of professional coaches provides a player with knowledge of the game that will be required to succeed at the collegiate level. Batting practice will be taken prior to each game providing there are resources to do so.
Sports Center Membership
Each participant of Baseball U will have full access to The Sports Center in Wall Township, NJ. A player may use the facility upon request through The Sports Center to hit, field, throw and workout. This membership starts the first day of the Baseball U summer season in June through July 31st.
Baseball U Mini-Camp
Baseball U will hold a mini-camp prior to the July tournament season. June is usually utilized to finalize school baseball, school tests, showcases and any All Star Games a player might have made. This mini-camp will have a player tournament ready while covering all aspects of the game before the biggest events of the summer season.
Baseball U Organizational Day
Last year 19 schools attended the organizations opening day. It was a great success with schools such as Penn, Seton Hall, Rutgers, Villanova, Monmouth, Columbia, St John’s and more were on hand to see the players showcase their skills.
Showcases
Each 2012 and 2013 graduate player will be able to participate in the Perfect Game Sunshine Northeast Showcase. 2014 players would have an opportunity to attend the Northeast Underclass Showcase in August. Perfect Game is the world’s largest and most comprehensive scouting service for college coaches and professional scouts. Each player who attends the showcase will be given a grade and report for all college coaches to view at the Perfect Game website.
Tournaments
Baseball U attends some of the best showcase tournaments in the country. These tournaments are focused on showcasing a player’s skills in front of as many of the college coaches as possible from various geographical areas. In the summer of 2011 Baseball U will be again sending two teams to Georgia for the WWBA 17U National Championships. Over 500 colleges were in attendance last year. The Prospect, AAA and AA teams will attend 5 tournaments in the summer. (Speak to Baseball U Representative for Team Schedule)
Player Profiles / Sample Emails
Each player will receive a player portfolio, sample emails, and sample cover letters. Profiles are sent to college coaches by the player as well as Baseball U. Members of Baseball U will receive a strategic timeline of when to send out their profile.
Web Profile and Video Link
Player’s profiles are posted to the Baseball U website with a personalized link. Personalized web profiles are used to connect college coaches with Baseball U players, making the college connection process organized and efficient. A players You Tube video link can be placed on the player’s web profile. It is a good idea to have this video so a coach can view a player while at his office or while at his hotel while recruiting.
