Baseball U who finished 3rd (2011) and 5th (2010) at the 17U PG WWBA National Championships are set to compete in the First Annual PG World Series over a 5 day period. Over 500 MLB and college scouts are expected in the biggest summer championship ever held by Perfect Game.

This event is a scouts dream as they will have a chance to scout over 360 of the top players in the country during this time. Many of the players have committed to schools and are playing for pro exposure with MLB national crosscheckers and general managers in attendance.

Baseball U will be missing 7 of the summer players due to injuries and East Coast Pro Area Code workouts.

To help fill the roster out the team has added 4 players who are considered tops in their graduation class. Two of those players have committed to Vanderbilt University and are from the FTB Mizuno squad.
