BASEBALL U TAKES TWO TITLES

Baseball U likes to be known for placing players in college. That is what we are built on and our focus will remain. Perfect Game USA known as the top college recruiting information organization for college coaches also is well known for their national tournaments and player and team rankings.

This past summer Baseball U once again claimed a few of those titles by winning the Perfect Game Super 15 Mid-Atlantic 17U Championship as well as the PG WWBA Northeast Qualifier once again.

When people see the Baseball U teams at various events they see the developmental side of the game. What many do not realize is that when tryouts are held for the National Teams for the larger events they are composed of players from all the Baseball U organizations in New Jersey, Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania. That is basically a Northeast All Star team that is very tough to compete with.

If we wanted to focus on winning trophies we could do this every time we went up to Diamond Nation but our focus remains on developing and exposing for most events and joining together for the national events.

The Mid-Atlantic title was our local Central NJ players competing which was great. The Northeast Qualifier Title was members from NY, PA and NJ coming together to take the title.

Baseball U's group of 2019U players started out as 7th graders and went 0-13 one spring. They worked hard, developed and got better. This group has competed at the highest level and every member of this team that is still playing baseball has earned a college scholarship.
