PG Ranks 17U 22nd In Country

Baseball U has been ranked 22nd by Perfect Game in the 17U age group for the summer of 2011. Last year the group was ranked as high as 13th after finishing in 5th place in the 2010 PG WWBA World Wood Bat Championships in Georgia.

Baseball U is the only team north of Virginia on this list.

The team has had 21 players drafted in the past 4 seasons and placed over 130 players into college.

This year’s team has an impressive group of players with 5 of them already committed to ACC and SEC schools. There are many players on the teams that will move on to play high Division 1 baseball.

When you consider that there are over 3,000 teams around the country at the 17U age group this is quite an honor for the players as well as the organization. This would not be possible to obtain if it were not for all of the players in the past that have paved the way for the current and future organizational players.
